The balm is used for any smooth leather. It can also be used on natural wooden furniture and fittings or any solid wood or veneered furniture. The wax from the heart of the Carnauba Palm has been known as a nourishing product for leather and wooden furniture since the 19th century and is an important ingredient for natural cosmetics.
Caution: Do not use on glass surfaces such as windscreens or similar; streaking can occur on non-absorbent materials. Store out of children’s reach in a cool, dry, dark place.
- Leather: apply a thin layer of balm onto a clean & dry leather surface with the supplied Polishing Fibre. Leave until the balm is absorbed and then remove any excess with the dry side of the Polishing Fibre.
- Wood Furniture: clean the wood first with our Plus Line Cloth, this will allow the balm to penetrate. Apply a thin layer of balm to the wood and allow to absorb, remove any excess with the dry side of the Polishing Fibre supplied.
- Natural wood floors: for extra shine and nourishment the balm can be added to the cleaning water. It dissolves in hot water, approx 50°C or hotter (hot tap water is approx. 70 °C). Mix 1 litre of hot water and stir in 1 tablespoon of Leather & Wood Balm. Leave water to cool down for about 10 minutes. Clean floor in combination with an ENJO Floorfibre. If the water gets to cool the mixture will become thick, so work as quickly as possible.
- Due to the natural oil and wax (bees wax) ingredients, surfaces are nourished, conserved and colours are revived.
